Not sure it was the hardest I ever laughed, and I got some quizzical looks from the shop staff. I went shopping for a carton of milk, not my usual shop but one i do frequent from time to time, as it's usually the nearest on my way home from the pub. Anyway I got my milk went to the self-checkout, scanned and paid for it, and as i have "loyalty" card for the place scanned that as well. The machine then proceeded to churn out my receipt and an extra scrap of paper with an offer of £3 off my next shop if I use their shopping app. Great I thought, until I read the small print ... "minimum spend £15" and "expires 27th June" and "excludes Spirits", thats when i burst out laughing ... I've never spent that much there in one go in the last 5 years, and not about to start now for a couple of quid off. Needless to say that voucher ended up in the trash.
