I subscribe to a number of mailing lists to keep up to date with the various things (other than listnerds/Hive) that i;m interested in. One of those comes from MLB.com, yes I'm a Brit who loves baseball - lol!!, and lead me to discover something quite amazing.

That fact is, that given the number of games played in the history of baseball (close to 219,000 games in about 150 years) that only 23 perfect games have ever been pitched.
