Hello friends.

Give me a clean desk or give me death. These famous words were said by the famous blogger Martha Stewart (*not really, but it sounds good). If you don't know who she is, she started out as a homemaker, but then evolved into the queen of cleaning. If you want to avoid her fate, you should try to learn from her example and keep your desk clean. Easier said than done right?

If you work at a desk, you know what a clutter nightmare it is. All of a sudden, papers and papers of schoolwork and papers pile up, and before you know it, your desk has become a mountain of projects to be graded, business proposals to finish and client calls to be returned. And just when you think it's all that's coming, mail comes in and the top of that mountain just keeps on growing!

That is why every January 10th is National Clean Your Desk Day Source!

Having a clean desk embodies many feelings. You may be thinking, "Finally, here I can complete any task that is at hand!" or "I can finally complete this task because I won't be distracted by the piles of clutter on my desk." Cluttered desks can stop you from getting things done. But a clean desk can help you get things done. All this brings us to today's challenge.

Today's challenge

The "desk" could be the place you sit or your computer landing page. It's just a place to put your stuff when you're not using it. A desk could also be described as a place to type away on your computer, but "desk" could also be a lot of other things too. For example, you could be working on the school desk, the office desk, or any other type of desk that you can think of. All these places get cluttered.

Today's challenge. On a post on D.Buzz, post a picture of your cleaned-up desk. A picture before and a picture after is cool, but if you can only do after, that is fine as well. Let's see that clean workspace!
