RE: CTP Chat for July 7th, 2021

The one thing you could tell someone that is just starting their journey would be is to create a long term vision of where they want to be in 1, 5, then 10 years. Having a vision and documenting why you want to achieve in those timelines is one way of staying on track. Also, I would have them get a mentor as they will help them with the accountability aspect. A mentor will offer support when needed, motivation when it is low and encouragement when challenges are faced.

Bam!

Love the long term thinking on that man. It's so important!!!

I find it hard to keep to my vision sometimes. There are so many things that I need to do that it is easy to forget.
Thank you for this reminder

I agree with that. The here and now is so easy to get lost in it is hard to focus on something that is years and years away. Just remember you have a goal to have another business that brings in enough so that you do not have to be in construction for years and years to come.

Show up every day even if it is only for 15 to 20 minutes for the 3C's (content creation, commenting, and curation) Each day builds another layer. Even though it may be very thin right now, it will get thicker and thicker with time. Just look at @jongolson he has built incredible holdings by following those simple steps. Start small end big and keep growing.
