Updates from the Swarm

Just wanted to touch base with everyone and let you guys know about a few things going on with the CTP Swarm...

HivePay Issues

Our witness server for Hive Engine went offline last week and after we got it back up, we saw some issues with HivePay that needs to be worked on. We have been in touch with the guys over at @hashkings and are working on a plan for them to take over the development and management of the platform.

We have been so focused on building CTPX and think it's in the best interest for HivePay and it's users to have a dedicated team working on the service. This will be a slow process but the HK guys will be taking things over.

They have been the number one user of HivePay so they know exactly what is needed, plus their focus on e-commerce platforms is the perfect fit for HivePay. Make sure you give them a follow and we'll keep you up to date with the progress of everything being moved over.

Note: Because of this, we have suspended Hive Pay Swap. And if you are missing any funds over the past week since it went offline, please stop by the CTP Discord, we will make sure your funds are recovered. If you are looking for another SWAP service, you can always check out Bee Swap by @dcity Lots of liquidity and very low fees :)

CTPX Focus

Like mentioned above, the focus for us will switch big time over the next few months. The emphasis is CTPX with the end goal, to bring more people to the Hive blockchain!

We've been ramping up our promotional efforts and continuing to build the platform and make sure the CTP token is well distributed (more on that in a second!)

Here are some current stats since we launched about 5 weeks ago:

• Over 475,000 websites / blogs have been discovered and 'xplored'

• Currently, we're averaging about 12,000 xplores / page views daily

• We're a touch under 800 members and growing by about 10 new members a day

• And here's the big one....74,742 CTP Tokens have been awarded to xplorers!

Which brings us to something we're gearing up for....

The CTP Talk Curation Project

We're not a big tribe. We fly under the radar most days, and that's because we don't have a million Hive Power to support our community. But that is no excuse. We need to do better and one of the missions of this tribe is to distribute the token to as many people as we can.

You see, everything we try to build from the CTP Tipping bot, to CTP talk's front end, to CTPX is meant to help...Get the CTP Token out to as many people as we can.

So we're doing a little campaign inside of CTPX right now for our brand new curation project on this account.

This is a quick little ad we have running in CTPX. The goal is to bring more people to Hive, and get them some CTP tokens in their wallets. Currently this account has over 200,000 CTP token delegated to it which helps us spread things out.

We also have around 6000 Hive Power delegated to CTPtalk as well.

We take everything in CTP that this account earns, and send it back to CTPX's account. We are also continuing to use funds from sales inside of CTPX to buy back CTP tokens all the time off the market.

So far, it's been working perfectly!

And it'll just keep growing. We know, 6000 Hive Power isn't a ton, but we are going to build this up and constantly be supporting content from within the community!

So over the next few months, you will see us...Focusing on these things mostly...

• Growing CTPX and bringing people to Hive

• Continuing to distribute the CTP token
