With my HBD I connect with emblematic places of the city of Cumaná and receive a historical tour.

Greetings friends, a few days ago I had the privilege of sharing an afternoon walk with my friend Julio Alejandro Gonzalez, who serves as director of the Municipal Autonomous Institute of Tourism IMATUR, and with whom I had the pleasure of sharing a pleasant afternoon full of lots of history and also shared projects and ideas that seek to highlight and exalt the potential in tourism metería of our state and our city. From Hive Sucre, we always support and are proud to have beautiful natural spaces, a masterful colonial architecture and historical places that are arranged for the healthy recreation and delight of both locals and seasonal visitors. In addition to this, I must add the fact that our people are kind, gentle and always ready to receive warmly all those people who want to know the tourist attractions of our state of Sucre.

Saludos amigos, hace pocos días tuve el privilegio de poder compartir una tarde de paseo con mi amigo Julio Alejandro González, quien se desempeña como director del Instituto Autónomo Municipal de Turismo IMATUR, y con quién tuve el placer de compartir una tarde amena llena de muchísima historia y también de proyectos e ideas compartidas que buscan resaltar y exaltar las potencialidades en metería turísticas de nuestro estado y de nuestra ciudad. Desde Hive Sucre, siempre apoyamos y nos sentimos orgullosos de tener espacios naturales hermosos, una arquitectura colonial magistral y lugares históricos que son dispuestos para el sano esparcimiento y el deleite tanto de propios como de temporadista. Además de ello, debo sumar el hecho de que nuestra gente es amable, gentil y siempre está dispuesta a recibir de forma calurosa a todas aquellas personas que quieren conocer los atractivos turísticos de nuestro estado Sucre.

In the afternoon, after scheduling this tour with Julio, I went to IMATUR where my friend was anxiously waiting for me to begin this little historical journey. At the beginning of this video we took some shots of the most historic temple of the city of Cumana as is the church Santa Ines and at that precise moment was when I realized that I had not brought the wireless microphones, so I will have to tell you the historical journey in written form and I leave you the audiovisual material of the tour.

En horas de tardes luego de haber programado este recorrido con Julio, me dirigí a IMATUR donde mi amigo me esperaba ansiosamente para comenzar con esta pequeña travesía histórica. Al inico de este video hicimos algunas tomas al templo de más valor histórico de la ciudad de Cumaná como lo es la iglesia Santa Inés y en ese preciso momento fue cuando me di cuenta de que no había llevado los micrófonos inalambricos, así que tendré que relatarles la travesía histórica de forma escrita y les dejo el material audiovisual del recorrido.

The church Santa Inés has one of the most beautiful and imposing architecture, this was rebuilt in 1853 from the remains of the chapel Del Carmen, and in view of my curiosity Julio told me that the church Santa Inés was renamed on November 28 of the year 2023 by Pope Francis as a minor Basilica, being on January 19 of this year through a Solemn Act and as part of the anniversary of the Catholic saint of St. Agnes of Rome, where it is officially decreed as a minor Basilica. This Basilica houses the patron saint and Martyr Saint Agnes, the spiritual patron saint of the people of Cuman.

La iglesia Santa Inés posee una de las arquitectura más hermosas e imponentes, esta fue reconstruida en el año 1853 a partir de los restos de la ermita Del Carmen, y en vista de mi curiosidad Julio me comentaba que la iglesia Santa Inés fue renombrada el 28 de noviembre del año 2023 por el papa Francisco como Basílica menor, siendo el 19 de enero del año en curso a través de un Acto Solemne y en el marco aniversario del santoral católico de Santa Inés de Roma, donde se decreta oficialmente como Basílica menor. Esta Basílica alberga a la patrona y Mártir Santa Inés, la patrona espiritual de los cumaneses.

We continue our tour through the historic center of the city until we reach the Plaza Bolivar, a square where the ruins of the old administrative palace of the state government is located, which received in its early foundation the name of Bermudez Palace and later was refounded as the Palace of the Governorate of Sucre state, in this place were administered the executive, legislative and judicial powers, this palace was burned due to an event that shocked the city product of the death of a young student, being completely in ruins. Also, in front of the ruins of this palace is the birthplace and museum of one of the most illustrious people of Cuman, the poet Andrés Eloy Blanco.

Continuamos nuestro recorrido por el casco histórico de la ciudad hasta llegar a la plaza Bolívar, una plaza donde se encuentra ubicada las ruinas del antiguo Palacio administrativo de la gobernación del estado el cuál recibió en sus inicios de fundación el nombre de Palacio Bermúdez y más adelante fue refundado como Palacio de la gobernación del estado Sucre, en este lugar se administraban los poderes ejecutivos, legislativos y judicial, este palacio fue quemado debido a un hecho que conmoción la ciudad producto de la muerte de una joven estudiante, quedando completamente en ruinas. Así mismo, frente a las ruinas de este Palacio se encuentra la Casa natal y también el museo de uno de los más ilustres cumaneses como lo es el poeta del pueblo Andrés Eloy Blanco.

We continued the tour, and Julio continued instructing me in history and showed me the majestic school Nuestra Señora del Carmen, known as "Carmelitas" this school has more than 100 years of existence and provides elementary, middle and high school education. While I was delighted with the great infrastructure of this school and listened attentively to Julio, we arrived at the Plaza Pichincha, a place located in the center of the city, with beautiful vegetation and where one of our commercial allies is located, @cafebracamonte, so we took a break to have a coffee, but not before overlooking that this establishment was being visited by other fellow Hivers in the city who were also making their consumptions paying with HBD, which filled me with pride and a lot of happiness because making payments in HBD is precisely to connect with the web3 while we stock up and enjoy the places visited.

Seguimos el recorrido, y Julio me continuaba instruyendo en historia y me mostraba el majestuoso colegio Nuestra Señora del Carmen, conocido como "Carmelitas" este colegio tiene más de 100 años de existencia e imparte educación básica, media y diversificada. Mientras me deleitaba con la grandiosa infraestructura de este colegio y escuchaba atentamente a Julio, llegamos a la plaza Pichincha, un lugar ubicado en todo el centro de la ciudad, con una hermosa vegetación y donde se encuentra unicado uno de nuestros aliados comerciales como lo es @cafebracamonte, así que hicimos un break para tomarnos un café, no sin antes pasar por alto que este establecimiento estaba siendo visitados por otros compañeros Hivers de la ciudad quienes tambien estaban realizando sus consumos pagando con HBD, lo que me lleno de orgullo y de muchísima felicidad porque hacer pagos en HBD es precisimante conectarnos con la web3 mientras nos abastecemos y disfrutamos de los lugares visitados.
