I just got over Grilled Cheeses and Ramen Noodles, now it's pretty much anything available. We don't go shopping much these days (once every few weeks).
Lunch tends to be leftovers from the night before. We have been doing pretty good about making groceries last for a couple of weeks but it requires a lot more meal planning than we have been used to.
Not being able to order out in a pinch really sucks.
Don't restaurants/normal takeouts deliver anymore? Here it seems like even the restaurants that never delivered are changing to doing delivery nowadays. Tonight I had a very great meal from one of my favourite restaurants that I wanted to support by buying one of their 'boxes for 2': it existed of Portuguese/Spanish/Arabic tapas, with fresh Focaccia bread that was still warm from the oven <3
I've also been lucky as it's easy to get groceries delivered once every week so I'm still eating Grilled Cheeses but also my recently discovered Feta/Pistache spread that I make with a lot of lemon and red pepper in it.
They do deliver, but we just don't want to take the risk. We order (and pickup) from a local roadhouse we love once every 2 weeks or so, we wipe everything container down and move all the food to our own plates and wash all our hands really well. It's a big pain in the ass.
Ahhh - I see. Yes, I 'calculated' the risk of ordering food, and decided I was okay with it. It's finding a balance that feels right though, and I can totally see why you wouldn't.
Stay healthy <3
We did order for a while into it, but we have been far more preventative lately and stopped probably 1-2 months ago.
