yes.. for sure.. but the combination of both is what would make players addicted... just look at the past steem games.. the game design and tech was more or less early 2000s.. people played it only for rewards without having too much fun.. the now a day games are fabulous.. people play it for fun.. and in every game there is a reward system included (better weapons, levels, etc..) because the brain reacts to rewards, tips, money and tokens the same way it does to drugs... so the comibation of the two would be an addictive game (like pokemon go + earning cash with it).. maybe the killer app bringing hive to the masses

I'm with you here. I remember playing Everquest when it first launched and being amazed seeing people sell digital magical items on eBay for hundreds of dollars. Blockchain just takes out the middlemen and costs. Hive can make any in-game economy into a real world economy.
Rather than build from scratch, I think a Hive team could look at a partnership with an existing game or licensing software. Mindark and its Entropia platform have always come to mind.
