I for sure feel like we made the right move to go in a different direction than Steem and the sock puppet witnesses. Every day that passes confirms that for me.
Yeah, sad that Steem becomes a centralized blockchain now. But an interesting learning came out. Blockchains have to fend off exchange attacks in their design. That is totally unreal.
I used to participate in many crypto project articles under cateredcontent on the Steem chain, and trust me, I have learned of "n" number of nefarious attack mitigation plans by those chains. Not one, absolutely none of them, spoke of a exchange attack. The Steem chain has warned the world of a new kind of attack. I guess, that is going to be part of all new designs.
