Preparation of ingredients
▪︎ Start by washing the shrimp with clean water. Then use a knife to cut off the tips of the tentacles and legs, cut the back of the shrimp to remove the black veins. Then wash the shrimp with clean water several times to remove dirt.
▪︎ Then use a knife to peel off the potatoes, wash with clean water several times, cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces as desired. Then soak the potatoes in cold water for about 5 minutes to reduce excess starch and prevent the potatoes from turning black.
