The best part of Ramadan: Iftaar (eng-tr)

Hello dear ladies and gentlemen,

Today I will tell you about one of the most beautiful moments of Ramadan. As you can see from the first photo, the subject of this post is Iftar dinner. As you know, Muslims fast during the month of Ramadan. We do not eat or drink from 5 am to 8 pm for a total of 30 days. This has many spiritual meanings. It's not just about being hungry or thirsty. But I will share the spiritual side of Ramadan in another post.
Let's focus on the Iftaar (Ramadan food).

Bugün sizlere Ramazan ayının en güzel anlarından birinden bahsedeceğim. İlk fotoğraftan da anlaşılacağı üzere bu paylaşımımın konusunu İftar yemeği oluşturuyor. Bildiğiniz üzere Müslümanlar Ramazan ayı boyunca oruç tutarlar. Toplam 30 gün boyunca sabah 5 am - 8 pm arası yemek yemeyiz ve su içmeyiz. Bunun manevi olarak birçok anlamı var. Konu yalnızca aç kalmak ya da susuz kalmak değil. Ama Ramazan ayının manevi yönünü başka bir postta paylaşacağım.
Haydi şimdi iftarlara odaklanalım.

Today is the 11th day of Ramadan. In the past 11 days, I have gone to my uncle's home two times. Since our houses are close, we went for a walk. I took the pictures while walking and wanted to share them with you.

Bugün Ramazan'ın 11. günü. Geçen 11 gün içerisinde iki kez misafirliğe gittim. İki akrabamız bizi yemeğe yani iftara davet ettiler. Evlerimiz yakın olduğu için yürüyerek gittik. Yürürken karşılaştığım manzaraları çektim ve sizinle paylaşmak istedim.

As the weather got warmer, people started to go out after iftaar. Some went out for a walk and some went out to go to the mosque. There was such a beautiful mosque near one of the houses I visited. People began to gather for the #Tarawih prayer.

Havalar da ısındığı için insanlar iftardan sonra dışarı çıkmaya başladılar. Bazıları yürüyüş yapmak için bazısı da camiye gitmek için dışarı çıktılar. Misafirliğe gittiğim evlerden birinin yakınında böyle güzel bir cami vardı. İnsanlar Teravih namazı için toplanmaya başladılar.

And the most beautiful moment :) The month of Ramadan is not without deserts. There is dessert on the menu after almost every iftar. Special for the month of Ramadan #gullaç is generally preferred. This dessert is preferred because it is milky and light. After Güllaç, I also ate a piece of #baklava :)

Ve gecenin en güzeli :) Ramazan ayı tatlısız olmaz. Neredeyse her iftardan sonra menüde tatlı vardır. Ramazan ayına özel #güllaç tercih edilir genelde. Sütlü ve hafif olduğu için bu tatlı tercih edilir. Güllaçtan sonra bir dilim #baklava da yedim :)

The photos that follow are from the second invitation that I went to. I also had a good time here. The photos I took while walking. The weather was very nice. Some people have prepared to open iftaar outside. I saw some families sitting on the grass. The food at this invitation was also very good. The taste of the tea after iftar is excellent :)

Bazı insanlar dışarda iftar açmak için hazırlık yapmışlar. Çimlerde oturan bazı aileler gördüm. Bu davetteki yemekler de çok güzeldi. İftardan sonra içilen çayın tadı ise bambaşka :)
