The guardian on my chili plant

in CCH2 days ago

As I mentioned I love to have the jumping spider around my house and also around my plant because it means that my plant are pesticide-free since they can live well, and also I could have the subject to photograph for my macro-photography hobby.

Although they are not a good plant pest control, because as far as I know they don't feed on aphids and other plant pests, at least they can be a great guardian for the house against flies. They will do their little patrol on the plant, and find any flies that might be resting on the plant for their meal.

Today I want to show you this colorful little guardian on my chili plant. I think this little jumping spider is from the Cosmophasis Genus.

This is the size comparison of the tiny jumping spider with the bulb of the chili flower. It is really a small jumping spider. : )
