At 6 a.m. on December 5, 2026, I had just returned from Banda Aceh Darussalam. When I arrived, I discovered that the Titi river in Blang was broken. People were traveling on the highway after arriving in Blang. They had to wait for fishing boats to cross the river from Banda Aceh to Medan.
Because cars couldn't reach Medan directly, we had to get on and off fishing boats. Then, we had to change cars to get to Medan. It was truly a sad thing, as this was a natural disaster. A few days before the flood, it had rained heavily for almost five days, causing landslides and cutting off several irrigation channels.
