Common name: mustard
Scientific name: Brassica campestris
It bears full yellow flowers which are located in the upper part of the stem and branches.
The seeds are black or yellow in color depending on the subspecies. Generally it is sown in December and it is harvested in March-April. In India, its cultivation is more in Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Gujarat.
Oil extracted from mustard seeds is used to make a variety of food items and apply to the body.When the flowers bloom, then the whole field is filled with yellow color which looks very attractive to see.the bee takes the juice from the flowers.
