Hello everyone
Last month, while traveling back to Phuket, I made a stop along the way to pay my respects to Tao Jatukam Ramathep, a deity I deeply admire 🙏. The shrine is located in Hat Kham, Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan. Unfortunately, I arrived a bit too early that morning, and the sanctuary where the deity is enshrined had not opened yet.
So instead, I visited the nearby Yang Chum Reservoir, just a short drive from the shrine. The early-morning atmosphere there was incredibly peaceful — almost no people passing by, only the stillness of nature. I love moments like this. The quietness gives me space to breathe, reflect, and think about everything I’ve been through — the good and the difficult — with a calmer heart 🌿.

Since the shrine wasn’t open yet, I took a slow drive across the Yang Chum Reservoir bridge. The morning sky was bright and wide, with soft clouds drifting above the mountains. The road stretched out peacefully in front of me — no traffic, no rush, just the quiet beauty of nature unfolding on both sides.
The blue sky reflecting off the water, the fresh air, and the gentle light made the whole scene feel almost unreal. It was one of those moments when you can’t help but slow down your car and simply enjoy the drive 🚗💨.

I even stopped for a quick photo on the road — the long yellow line leading toward the mountains made such a perfect frame. It’s funny how simple things like this can make you feel grounded, like the world is gently reminding you to keep moving forward, one step at a time.

I parked my car and walked closer to the edge of the reservoir. The water was still and mirror-like, reflecting the soft morning clouds drifting across the sky. With the mountains standing quietly in the distance, the whole scene felt almost like a painting.
The more I looked, the more I felt a sense of calm settle in. The cool breeze, the gentle sunlight, and the vast open water made this early stop feel like a small gift before the day truly began 💙.

Along the shore, I noticed some purple wildflowers blooming brightly against the green grass. They added a soft touch of color to the scene — a reminder that nature always knows how to balance itself with beauty.

Not far from there, the lotus pond was in full bloom. Pink lotus flowers floated on the water, opening gently as the sunlight touched them. It was such a peaceful sight, and I stood there for a while, just enjoying the quiet harmony of it all 🌸.

There was even a small red boat resting by the shore, adding a charming detail to the view. Everything together — the mountains, the lotus, the calm water — made this place feel like a hidden corner of peace.

Looking across the reservoir, I could see the fields and the small houses in the distance. Cows grazed quietly nearby, completing the gentle rhythm of rural life. It’s moments like this that make me appreciate the beauty of simple mornings.

Before leaving the reservoir, I took a moment to capture a few photos. The soft morning light, the peaceful water, and the mountains behind me made everything feel calm and refreshing — the kind of morning that naturally lifts your mood ☀️.
Standing there with the cool breeze brushing past, I felt completely at ease. It’s rare to find places where you can simply slow down and enjoy the moment without any rush.

Around 8:30 AM, the shrine finally opened, so I drove straight there with a calm and hopeful heart. The moment I stepped inside, the atmosphere felt peaceful and sacred. I knelt down and offered my prayers to Tao Jatukam Ramathep, asking for guidance and blessings — wishing that everything I’m working toward will unfold smoothly and successfully 🙏✨.

After finishing my prayers, I sat quietly for a moment before leaving the shrine. There was a gentle stillness in the air — the kind that makes you feel both peaceful and grounded at the same time. Visiting this place always reminds me to stay patient, keep my intentions clear, and trust that good things will come when the time is right.
As I walked back to my car, the morning sunlight had grown warmer, and the sky seemed brighter than before. Maybe it was just the weather… or maybe it was simply the feeling of comfort after paying respect to a deity I hold close to my heart 🙏💛.
With a lighter mind and a calm heart, I continued my journey to Phuket — grateful for the quiet morning, the beautiful scenery, and the chance to pause and reconnect with myself along the way.
