Under the scorching sun, we sought relief from the heat with a brief stroll along the beach. The searing weather led us to the decision to explore the nearby aquarium, conveniently situated next to the sandy shore. The anticipation of cool, aquatic wonders propelled us forward.

As we approached the entrance of the aquarium, a prominent sign reminded us that before delving into the underwater realm, we needed to secure tickets. The pricing board indicated a fee of 50 baht for Thai adults, 20 baht for children, 180 baht for foreign adults, and 100 baht for foreign children.

A fortunate twist awaited my husband as he possessed a work permit, granting him the privilege of purchasing his ticket at the local rate of 50 baht, the same as Thai adults. With our tickets in hand, we stepped into the aquarium, the air inside carrying a refreshing coolness that contrasted sharply with the outdoor heat.

This aquatic haven wasn't new to us; my husband, our son, and I had explored its depths on numerous occasions in the past. However, this time, there was a new addition to our expedition – my husband's niece. Keen on sharing the enchantment of the underwater world with her, my husband decided to bring her along. Children's love for animals is universal, and my husband believed that the aquarium would be the ideal place to captivate his niece's imagination.

The Phuket Aquarium finds its home in the Wichit Subdistrict of Mueang Phuket District, within Phuket Province. Renowned as a hub of learning and a showcase for diverse aquatic species, this establishment attracts not only curious individuals but also schools from Phuket and neighboring provinces.
