Two days ago, my friend called and asked me when I would go out for a Thai BBQ with her. We hadn’t had Thai BBQ together in months. We had planned to go out for Thai BBQ several times before, but as the date drew nearer, we postponed it. This time, we decided not to postpone it, so we decided to go out for a Thai BBQ on Saturday evening. About 40 minutes before the scheduled time, I drove to the Thai BBQ restaurant in Patong, our most frequent Thai BBQ restaurant.

When I arrived at the Thai BBQ restaurant, my friend was already waiting for me. We then chose a table near the waterfall and the food so that we wouldn’t have to walk far when we wanted to get food.

A menu that is unique to the two of us that we must have every time we go to eat Thai barbecue is papaya salad with both shrimp and blue swimming crabs. My friend and I helped boil almost 20 large shrimps and 2 blue swimming crabs because we like to eat shrimp more. After boiling the shrimp and blue swimming crabs, we peeled the shells and heads, and the blue swimming crabs removed the shells. Then my friend started making the papaya salad. Not long after, we had a large plate of papaya salad full of large, firm, sweet-boiled shrimp and blue swimming crabs.

After that, we ate delicious papaya salad and grilled pork, beef, and chicken on a special grilling pan. The grilled meats gave off a nice smell. While we were there, we chatted it was a great time for us.

We had a great Thai BBQ and ended with some fruit and dessert, which is a must. No matter how full you are, there always seems to be room for dessert in your stomach. I walked over to the fruit and dessert table to scoop some sweets into a bowl.

I chose 4 desserts and put them in a cup, then poured syrup, coconut milk, and small ice cubes for refreshment. We ate desserts and talked. We stayed at Thai BBQ for almost 2 hours, then we went our separate ways to go home.
