Happy New Year, friends!
So the New Year's Eve parties are over. The streets of our city became quiet in the evening. Today I was walking with my daughter at 6 p.m. and she said: "Is everyone really asleep? Why is it so quiet on the streets and no one in sight?"
An interesting ending to the year turned out this time. Can you imagine, friends, my daughter was taken to the hospital in an ambulance on December 31 in the morning. Appendicitis was suspected. She spent 2 nights in the hospital. That's why the three of us celebrated the New Year - me, my wife, and my mom.
We didn't even make a big festive table, we made do with minimal snacks.
We were expecting guests in the afternoon, my mother's birthday is December 31, so guests always come to us on this day. But this time our friends got sick and didn't come to avoid spreading the disease.
Just 10 minutes before the end of the year, my wife suggested doing a traditional photo shoot near the New Year tree.
Mom turned 84 on the last day of the year.
I don't notice my age, I see that my children, grandchildren, and my mother are growing up. Mom is especially growing up. And I want to see her young and healthy, as I knew her in my childhood.
That was our New Year's table. A minimum of food and one bottle of champagne. Of course, there was food in the fridge, but we decided that we didn't want to eat or drink anything, because we wished Mom a happy birthday at about 6 p.m.
One of the reasons for such minimalism on the table is that we were waiting for a call from the hospital. But it turned out that the daughter was asleep, the phone was on silent mode and the mother was unnecessarily worried. At 7 a.m., we were already driving to the hospital to talk to the doctor.
As a result, appendicitis was not confirmed, but on January 1, the doctor did not allow us to take our daughter from the hospital. I picked her up on January 2nd. But that's another story.
Well. I wish all my friends, observers, and readers wonderful walks on Wednesdays. And also on Sundays and any other day!

Merry Christmas! it was a while you posted new blogs here. A busy December?..
!BEER, as always.
