I came to Sylhet all of a sudden and planned to go to Hamham with the desire of trekking. Many (whom I consider an idol in the case of traveling) forbade me to go and told me to go when it was raining. But since I have never had the experience of trekking, I did not want to miss the opportunity to go to Hamham.
I would like to give some personal opinions in this context. For those who are doing new trekking, it is best to go for the off-season. Because the roads I saw in some places, it is very easy to guess that it will be like oiled bamboo in the rain. I would say if you just want to see the waterfall then go to the rainforest and if you want to mingle with a little forest-hill, then off-season is better. Because there is no mud, so the road will be much easier, there will be no problem of camera or bag veg. The mountain path can be enjoyed well. You will also get the experience of trekking.
