Introducing the Paranormal Hive Tribe and SCP Token

Welcome to the Paranormal Hive tribe! This is a new tribe and token for paranormal and supernatural enthusiasts on the Hive platform.

We're thrilled to announce the official launch of Paranormal Hive, a content tribe dedicated to all things supernatural, paranormal and mysterious, now live on the Hive blockchain! For fans of ghosts, cryptids, UFOs, conspiracy theories and unexplained phenomena Paranormal Hive offers an exciting space to explore, share, and earn through engaging content about the unknown.

Our front-end will be active on paranormalhive.org in a few days along with a SWAP.HIVE:SCP diesel pool but you can already start earning SCP tokens for your paranormal and spooky content. The Paranormal Hive tribe tags are #hive-117752, #paranormalhive, #paranormal, #supernatural, and #creepypasta. Including any one or more of these tags will get your content included in the SCP token reward pool. Note: #actifit is currently an excluded tag and posts using that tag won't be indexed by Hive SMT smart contract for SCP token rewards.

Why Paranormal Hive?

The Hive blockchain is home to many creative communities but none were designed specifically for the paranormal, supernatural and unexplained. Paranormal Hive fills this gap, inviting writers, artists, researchers and even casual fanatics who are fascinated by the mysterious to gather in one unique space on Hive. Our goal is to encourage thoughtful discussions, fascinating stories, and a place where paranormal content can truly thrive.

The SCP Token

Our tribe is modeled after the fictional SCP Foundation group of interest Parawatch. Therefore, Paranormal Hive is using the token symbol SCP.

The SCP token on 2nd layer Hive-Engine is designed to reward creators and curators who contribute engaging, quality content within the paranormal, supernatural and unexplained theme.

Here’s what to know about SCP token:

Earn by Engaging: SCP tokens are distributed as rewards to contributors based on the curation value of their posts and comments.

Content published to the Paranormal Hive tribe receives SCP token rewards five days after the content is published. There is a 45%/50% split for creators and curators. 5% is deducted from non-curation portion of rewards and goes to @token.fee.This means, for example, if you make a post and at cashout time your post has earned 100 SCP in rewards you would get 45 SCP, the curators who upvoted the post split 50 SCP and @token.fee gets 5 SCP. All of the SCP tokens @token.fee receives will go toward LP rewards and Paranormal Hive tribe funding.

Create a Hive Account: If you’re new to Hive, start by setting up a Hive account. This will enable you to post content, interact with other users and receive rewards in SCP tokens.

Follow the Community Guidelines: We encourage quality and original content, so please make sure to review our guidelines before posting.

Start Sharing: Whether it’s a spooky story, a review of a ghost-hunting gadget or theories on UFO sightings, Paranormal Hive is the perfect place to share your passion for the unusual and unexplained.
