How effective is distance learning in this time of the pandemic

I am sure everyone has different thoughts on this discussion of distance learning. This distance learning starts from the learning circles from the lowest class, namely elementary school level to tertiary institutions and even office agencies, both public and private, are doing the same thing, maybe the name is more appropriate for those who are already working is "work from home". But what I discuss this time is my personal experience during a series of distance learning during this pandemic. Maybe in some countries or certain regions in a country, they must have carried out this distance learning before this pandemic occurred. But all this requires preparation that extracts from the techniques and preparation of each of these participants. In contrast to the current pandemic era, we are forced to be ready to participate in these activities without any prior preparation. Yes, all of this is possible without anyone knowing when this pandemic will take place at any time, so just be spontaneous, we must be ready to do this distance learning in the present.

Indeed, not all of the activities we do run smoothly and smoothly, there must be Kendal and so on. Likewise, the phenomenon that is happening now during this pandemic. Yes, maybe I can mention the positive side of distance learning as we do not have to have formal time to do activities and nowadays we can have a lot of free time to do other things. Apart from that, the other positive side is that we can also while learning distance like this we can coincide with other activities and can be anywhere as long as the network we need for learning needs is well available. Yes, such an example might be called distance learning, this is very flexible for some people. However, some less fortunate people out there have many obstacles and find many negative sides by doing distance learning as it is today. Starting from economic factors, they cannot buy learning support products such as cellphones and laptops or similar items. Now maybe it is from an economic point of view to get these items not to mention their place of residence that does not support getting a stable signal for their learners. So that it is not uncommon for them to walk far from their location of residence to a place that is considered to have a stable signal to support their learning. Problems like this are not only experienced by students and university students, but students also feel that way. Yes so both parties will feel equally burdened by this distance learning. Well, not to mention that in this day and age, many students think that they get more homework to do in the present than they did in school when face to face as usual before. This also makes students feel bored and uncomfortable with this learning and is considered less effective because the student's condition is always emphasized through his schoolwork. In addition, many students find it difficult to understand a material because they do not see the learning process directly because they only watch from an electronic screen without seeing directly. Maybe there is also no emotional pressure from the teaching staff to students so that these students are somewhat difficult to understand something learning in the future. like this.

However, the government has also tried to minimize problems in distance learning during this pandemic. For example, the government has provided a quota subsidy through student learning institutions, both schools and universities. But again, the distribution of this quota subsidy is considered uneven, which was initially expected as a solution to this distance learning problem. And the point is we have a lot to learn more to be ready to do this kind of learning method so that events that occur in the present will not be repeated in the future. Yes, indeed we cannot predict when this pandemic will come and end on this earth. But we both hope that this situation will quickly pass and for now those of us who still have to carry out this distance learning must be able to do our best for the benefit of our knowledge in the future. For that, let us both hope that this situation will quickly pass and we can do our usual activities again in our own ways.
