Britain's government spent 4.4 billion pounds on Brexit planning By Reuters

England's legislature has spent at any rate 4.4 billion pounds ($5.6 billion) of citizens' cash on arrangements to leave the European Union, the open spending guard dog said on Friday, in the main definite gauge of the expense of Brexit.  

The National Audit Office (NAO) said in a report that the greater part of the cash was spent on staff costs, constructing new framework and paying for outer exhortation.  

Albeit a few services needed to enhance their spending from existing spending plans, the administration in general just spent about 70% of the 6.3 billion pounds allotted to take care of the expense of arrangements, the report said.  

In a sign of the change that Brexit caused inside government, the report said no less than 22,000 government authorities were chipping away at Brexit at the pinnacle when Britain was nearly leaving the EU without a separation bargain last October.
