E-Sports Odds: ESL Pro League CS:GO

Fans of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive were relieved to learn last week that Season 11 of the ESL Pro League was a go.

The action began Monday with matches held online rather than live; this week’s European Group B openers include Saturday’s battle between Fnatic (FNC), the Season 10 finalists from Sweden, and their Danish opponents from North, who crashed out in the first round. Streaming begins at 2 PM ET on Twitch and YouTube.

Bet on E-Sports at Bovada and get a free 50% bonus. As you might expect, Fnatic are heavy favorites to take their CS:GO matchup with North. The highly-decorated Swedes, who won Seasons 1 and 2 of the ESL Pro League back in 2015, are –550 on the moneyline at press time, or –1.5 (–140) against the spread. The standard total of 2.5 is on the board with the Under priced at –200.

With the coronavirus and the competition from the new Flashpoint league, this could be a make-or-break year for the re-structured ESL. They’ve switched to a best-of-three Group Stage for the 18 teams in the European regional league and the six-team North American league; eventually, 12 survivors will meet in the playoffs, and the last two standing will play in the best-of-five Grand Final.
