Ten killed in Gaza after bakery fire sweeps through packed market By Reuters

In any event 10 individuals, including six youngsters, were killed on Thursday when a pastry shop fire moved through a jam-packed market in an evacuee camp in the Gaza Strip, wellbeing authorities said.  

About 60 others were harmed in the fire, of whom 14 were in basic condition, as per the Palestinian wellbeing service.  

Witnesses said they heard a blast originate from a pastry kitchen in the Nusseirat camp in focal Gaza before a burst overwhelmed the bread kitchen and immediately spread to close by stores, production lines and autos stopped along the road.  

Gaza's inside service, which is controlled by the enclave's Islamist rulers Hamas, said the fire came about because of a gas spill inside one of the pastry kitchens that caused a few cooking gas containers to detonate.  

Hordes of regular citizens hurried to assist firemen with extinguishing the flares. Smoke ascending over the displaced person camp could be seen from miles away.
