A son of a top clinical authority in Georgia said on Saturday he had gotten the new coronavirus subsequent to being in contact with individuals who made a trip to Italy.  

Nikoloz Gamkrelidze, son of Amiran Gamkrelidze, leader of the national place on disease control in the previous Soviet Union republic, composed on his Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) page that the test for coronavirus returned positive.  

Separately, Amiran Gamkrelidze said there were currently 12 cases in the nation - 10 connected to Italy, which has Europe's worst episode, with the other two connected to Iran, where in excess of 120 individuals have kicked the bucket.  

Georgia, a South Caucasus nation of 3.7 million, revealed its first case of coronavirus toward the finish of February.
