Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. The winter transfer window has been active as clubs like Manchester City have been active in the transfer market to reinforce the squad for the remaining part of the season and as I said last year we are going to be seeing a different kind of City this year as they will possibly go on a no lost streak till the end of the Premier League and might just possibly win the win because you can't write the off until the end of the season.

Barcelona has not been active this winter in the transfer window in bringing new players to the club, but are active in making some departures happen before the end of the summer to bring in Rashford on loan who has been on the club's radar since the start of the winter window. For Marcus Rashford to join Barcelona, there has to be a departure from the club, and that might likely be Eric Garcia as Girona and Como are pushing to make the deal happen before the end of the transfer window.

Ansu Fati was given open doors to leave the club this winter as there is a possibility that if Ansu Fati leaves it will be possible to sign Rashford on loan from Manchester United, but Ansu Fati insist he wants to stay and succeed at the club at all cost which is impressive to see the mentality the young player has and also the desire to continue playing for his boyhood club. Ansu Fati has made it clear he is staying, so it all depends on the Eric Garcia deal to happen. Then, the club can explore the possibility of signing Marcus Rashford this January.

Marcus Rashford has not been having a good run at Manchester United, and to make matters worse, the new coach doesn't see Rashford as his plan at the club, which has gotten to this stage of the Englishman seeking out a possible loan exit and at the end of the season a permanent move from Manchester United. Rashford has not been at his best, but I think he will fit into Hansi Flick's team and could improve on his playing style at the club, I am sure Barcelona would not take a permanent deal as they have eyes on Luis Diaz, Nico Williams and Rafael Leao as their main target in the summer window.

Barcelona are going into the summer window with full force to get one of the players mentioned above and I look forward to seeing how Deco and Laporta make one of these players join the club next season. The Rashford loan deal to Barcelona is still on, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. FC Barcelona and Dortmund are the two clubs on Rashford's tail, but as I have said before, a departure is needed for Barcelona to activate the loan deal. In the coming days, more details should drop concerning Rashford's temporary future at Manchester United.

So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good day.

They will not make a permanent deal for Rashford because they can't afford it at the moment. Even the loan deal will cost them some serious money. So, there is no point chasing Rashford now if they are more keen on other talents. It is going to be expensive.

Deco[FC Barcelona Sporting Director] had a meeting in Lisbon with Rashford agent so there is a possibility it could happen, but it will depend on the departure of Eric Garcia or Ansu Fati so nothing can be ruled out yet and I agree it will to expensive concerning the wage bill of Rashford, but since Barca are having this talks they might have a solution.
