A fantastic team performance from Forest held the Liverpool onslaught at bay, half the team were dead on their feet, the other half had only just been subbed on!
We all know that Forest like to let the other team have the ball and make a fast break but we took it to the extreme against the Champions elect.
For the first 8 minutes I don’t think we left our half but then a lightning quick break and 3 quick passes ended with Wood slotting it home past Allison!
The rest of the first half was a tense battle but neither keeper really tested and the same can be said for the 2nd half although Liverpool came into it a little more until Jota came on and scored with his first touch and the Forest boys legs seemed to go as they had been tracking and pressing all game.
Sels made some great saves and a goal line clearance from Aina kept the scores level.
A great team performance.
