I don't remember when exactly was the last time someone told me something and I was just stunned, then afterward, cried like there's no hope for tomorrow. Well, it just happened.. again..
If you have followed my Hive blogging journey, you know I got into a skateboard accident like a month ago exactly. I broke some bones in my right foot. Need a cast, crutches for a month before an appointment to see how it goes.
I seriously eat healthiest food, boiled eggs, milk, vitamins and all. I stayed in my room most of the time and move around with just a wheeled chair (which is convenient). It was probably one of the most boring weeks in my lifetime. It's fine! I thought it would be worth it if I can just be back to normal again.
The day has come, 3 weeks past and I came back home to see the doctor. First I needed to go to an x-ray room, then went to see what the doctor had to say.
"All good!" I really did say that with high hope (in fact, so sure he's going to say that) because I was really felt good and I don't feel hurt anything anymore for weeks. "Opposite, the bones are not even connected".. I got no words and the smile disappeared. 2 mins later, I cried and was asking non-stop what could possibly go wrong.
He said, I was for sure stand on my injured foot.
O.o
Kinda true..
After I was able to remember what could possibly go wrong, here come the answers. Stand on my injured foot quite a few times, got bumped into also a few times, alcoholic drinks, and loose cast. Since it's never really happened often, I also didn't know best how careful I needed to be and now that I realized, I treated it like it's a normal foot covered with a cast.
It's been a few days that I got my new tighter cast on. I have been using crutches all along even just to go to a very close spot in the room. Just tried to be as careful as possible. I can't afford being a temporary cripple for another month or so..
Funny story, the moment they took off my cast just to put on the new one, I was just so excited and happy to see the skin of the other leg I haven't seen for weeks #lol like, really!
That's pretty serious! Hope it heals nicely. Luckily they don't have to go in to nail it bone together.
If next check it's still not connected then, that's the next stop Ade!! Quite a depression lol
Thank you Ade!!
Oops.. Be careful.. Get well soon..
