I have journal entries and some other things I've kept. I have a few things, particularly the notes my husband made when figuring out building the house. But because of the neuropathy, most times my handwriting is near illegible. And then suddenly there will be a day when I write a whole list neatly and well. My poor helper friend has to read his list with me each time to make sure of the words and letters. Sigh...

Mum went searching for any notes or sketches Dad left behind. I miss the little drawings he'd use to do of anything he was trying to explain - houses, maps.
