Physicians also get sick
Cordial greetings to the members of the Healthy-bees Community. I come to you excited and troubled with expectations, in this first interaction. I join with acquiescence to the socialization, to exercise the interpretative hermeneutics, in this health dissertation group.
The horizontal sharing of knowledge facilitates the flourishing of the commutation of experiences, providing the expression of representativeness in open systems, mutable, transformable, and full of dynamism, which legitimately reinforces that health is a social and multidimensional phenomenon. In successive, understanding and learning about health, becomes friendly in the dialectic discursiveness, where the shared opinions of those who live and experience it, generate a collective contribution for learning, unlearning, and relearning in compound awareness.
To go through the health-disease dyad is to travel through a constellation of complex, diverse, and sometimes unintelligible events. This has been the basis of my practicum for some years now. The fact is that we come into this existence with a bag full of signs and if we refer to health, we bring with us non-modifiable factors, together with family pathological antecedents, indelible imprints that will assiduously echo what we inherited, and to this will be added the personal ones.
And in the process of interacting with our environment, we are sewing, chiseling and modeling what we are in our complexity in health. With some exceptions, it is me, just like you, who is cardinally responsible for my health and my healthy condition. It is I, with my attitude, with my successes and failures, with my preferences and intentions, who sketch out my actions, tracing the path of my lifestyle in health.
As a physician, I am not exempt from illness, I have fallen ill on some occasions, recovering satisfactorily, I have also experienced fortuitous and unexpected events (uncontrollable accidents), but I enjoy a healthy state, which, in medicine, we call APS, acronym in Spanish (apparently healthy, without apparent pathologies). But it was not always like that.
When I was a medical student, specifically during clinical training, I was considerably vulnerable to nosocomial infections. I attribute this to several factors, among which I can mention: the exacerbated and unbridled pace of activities during those undergraduate years, the inadequate practice of preventive and barrier measures in the Healthcare Act, a distracted diet, and insufficient rest—a breeding ground for infectious agents. I was susceptible to the disease, due to my lightness and inexperience in the praxis. As I became aware of the risks, reinforcing my professional practice, with the acquisition of competencies together with the practice of a healthy lifestyle, my immune system was fortified, generating its powerful and tough defense.
So I close this meeting by sharing with you this fragment of my life story, but before I go I want to leave you a segment of recommendation that I have called:
When you go to a health center, don't forget to take with you, especially water, soap, alcohol, and your mask. Avoid bringing unnecessary items; get only the essentials. If you need to wash your hands, do not hesitate to do it as many times as you consider necessary. Remember that everything around you will be potentially contaminated. When you get home, put your clothes and shoes aside for washing, and clean yourself before touching your family. Simple health protection measures that should be part of your routine.

Your bushstrokes of health and wellness are simple but effective measures to protect against nosocomial infections which are measures often overlooked either ignorantly or consciously. Staying away from surfaces including where people rest hands or bodies remains consciously embedded in my subconscious, equally counselling those people in my company to stay clear off.
The rigors of medical school truly made us clear less about our health and diets, making us focus on the goal and giving less importance to the bits that equally contribute to our overall health.
Truly, the decision for good health lies majorly in our hands, a choice we have to wake up everyday to ensure is our resource for everyday living.
Thank you for your indepth share of knowledge. Have a pleasant week ahead
Thank you for your thoughtful contributions, we fully agree. Health and wellness !LUV
marilourWelcome to knowledge sharing colleague @jjmusa2004. How difficult it is to raise health awareness. Health prevention is nourished by simple but effective actions. But I don't understand why it is not often practiced. For me the undergraduate years were exhausting and stressful, many teachings. #Healthy-bees

marilourHello @wesphilbin, thank you for your presence and for joining the sharing of knowledge. Your intervention brings value to socialization generating amplitude in the integrality of contextualization. They distill from their lines in the first place the sublime property that unites us all in a native way, that is to say our human nature, that condition that agglutinates us as congeners and at the same time generates in each one of us a distinctive and odd place, making us unique and unrepeatable. You also bring us to reflect on our finite temporality, so we must be aware of our existence without qualms or waste, let us value our existence second by second, releasing the superfluous and banal, to nourish us of the essence. Let us be more human every day. My sincere thanks to you and the @tipu team for the support, I sincerely appreciate it. #healthy-bees

I think this is common knowledge but some people seem to forget it all the time all. They tend to get annoyed when they go to the hospital and there seems to be no doctor available to assist them. But at the end of the day can we blame them? They tend to think doctors are immune to sickness.
In my country, Venezuela, one of the critical knots in health care is the lack of personnel. Most probably, when they go to the hospital, they feel neglected in their needs. We cannot blame the patient for governmental responsibilities. Prevention in health is the cornerstone of wellness and healthy living. But even though we know it, most of the population does not apply it.
Until another time. Health and Wellness !LUV !PIZZA
marilourCordial greetings @rubilu thank you for the deference of your visit and your kind reflections. You make with your opinion interesting and very productive dissertation to socialization. The great and powerful measures expressed as preventive actions in health, are characterized by being simple in their application, which should provide security in its implementation. However, paradoxically, since they are public knowledge, as you yourself express, they are forgotten or not practiced. Something as simple and applicable as washing hands is unfortunately not practiced frequently. #Healthy-bees
