PRIORITISING HEALTH: Stay Healthy // Live Long

in Healthy Bees11 hours ago

I'm Glad i came across this community through a friends reblog, felt excited when i saw it, because i haven't really come across a nitche community on hive that really talks about health, true we have other numerous community on hive with different niches but finding health talk on hive ? Makes it looks as if we don't prioritise our health which above everything should be paramount and top of the league. As the saying goes

health is wealth

Without the former there will never be the later, recently i have been thinking more about my health and maybe cause of growing older your prioritise on things began to change, i'm just a young guy, but i feel its time to look inward, you see many old people today suffering one illness or the other at the old age all sum up to what they have been consuming when they were younger, there is how the human body is, we feel that maybe whatever we eat digest and just goes out through faeces at the end of the day but the reality is gradually consuming these things will slowly find its way into the blood stream and once it's there later on it will begin to materialise through one form of illness or another at our old age, when the body's immune system is weak.

Being health conscious is a task everyone should live by everyday, there is a noble prize winner in my country by the name sole woyinka and the American Long time Actor Cosby these two gentlemen as far as i can recall have always look same, like way back since i was a child, is it? They never all sick or go through some operation? Looking at them they look healthy strong and vibrant even in their old age....

Not being health conscious is putting ones health at risk, cause they eat every and anything, both necessary or not, consuming content that reacts in their bodies in a negative way, most of us only pay close attention to our bodies when we are down and have to be rushed to the hospital or clinic, most times by then some damages already been done.

For instance i have been observing some very funny pattern with my body since last year August or before that, its like every first week of every month i have to treat malaria and typhoid, months after months its like a circle, so i had planned on doing a proper test to really ascertain the root cause of it, but never really had funds for it..

Earlier this week i started experiencing the same malaria symptoms again as i had predicted it would first week of january i was disturbed and had to use the last penny one to run a full diagnostic test, the result was out with just minor complications, the lab scientist asking some series of questions about my body's reaction probably of malaria and typhoid my answers didn't fit in with purposed malaria and typhoid presence in my body...

Then she suggested that my immune system could be down which is why i'm developing allergies, Cold, caterrh, fever, soar throat, mostly any air-bourne diseases will likely get to me, so i need to get my immune boosted, suggested some few medications and drugs which i bought cause i really have to fix this once and for all.

I'm currently on medications and after this will likely buy more immune boosters and paying close attention to my health what i eat and drink cause i still want to be healthy, strong, vibrant even in my old days, being health conscious is now a priority and you too should.

@Hiventhusiast thanking you all for your time and attention, every upvotes, comments and reblogs are very much appreciated

Boosting your immune system is very important as it helps you fight infections. Going for medical checkups from time to time would also help in getting to know if you’re sick or not.

Verywell said thanks for your warm thoughts

I think for most people we generally don't take our health seriously until we are struck with what we never expected. I was like that until I got ill seriously. Now I don't joke about my health cause vomiting alone is a pain in the ass lol.
