Un gran saludo comunidad! Les escribo estas líneas ya que he tenido progresos importantes en plinterlands asi como también he tomado ciertas desiciones en el actual formato donde nos encontramos: Modern. Empezemos entonces por un logro que me tomo por sorpresa y fue alcanzar la liga de Oro II.

A big hello community! I am writing these lines because I have made significant progress in Plinterlands as well as making some decisions in the current format we are in: Modern. Let's start then with an achievement that took me by surprise and that was reaching Gold League II.

Alcanzando la liga oro II/Reaching the Gold League II

Desde la temporada pasad tomé la decisión de moverme al formato moderno ya que había alcanzado mi meta de obtener el título Veterano y definitivamente los costos para jugar en Wild son simplemente excesivos. Ya había alcanzado la liga de oro II la temporada pasada, pero la diferencia aquí es que ahora somos recompensados con cierta cantidad de cofres menores y mayores.

Since last season I made the decision to move to the modern format since I had reached my goal of obtaining the Veteran title and definitely the costs to play in Wild are simply excessive. I had already reached the Gold League II last season, but the difference here is that now we are rewarded with a certain amount of minor and major chests.

Ok, recuperamos algunas de las pociones que invertimos, 4 puntos de energía y una buena cantidad de méritos. Lo más destacable fueron 2 cartas: la rara Meriput Slinger de la clase muerte(5 bcx) y la común Chaos Evoker de la clase fuego(1 bcx).

Ok, we recovered some of the potions we invested, 4 energy points and a good amount of merits. The most notable were 2 cards: the rare Meriput Slinger of the death class (5 bcx) and the common Chaos Evoker of the fire class (1 bcx).

Por ahora tengo suficientes copias para llevar estas 2 cartas a nivel 2 pero esperaré a final de la temporada para fusionarlas. Por ahora mi impresión sigue siendo la misma sobre estos cofres, jugar a la lotería de los cofres es para aquellos que farmean grandes cantidades de Glints, la mayoría de nosotros que obtenemos apenas 100 o 200 glints por victoria debemos enfocarnos principalmente en las cartas.

For now I have enough copies to take these 2 cards to level 2 but I will wait until the end of the season to fuse them. For now my impression remains the same about these chests, playing the chest lottery is for those who farm large amounts of Glints, most of us who get just 100 or 200 glints per win should focus mainly on the cards.

Mi nueva estrategia de juego & Batalla del día/My new game strategy & Battle of the day

Es claro el fuerte componente P2W que tiene el juego, no voy a entrar en toda la historia de como eliminar las ligas fue la peor decisión que han tomado, pero la conclusión es clara, siempre te van a emparejar con alguien con mayor ranking y el RNG lo va a favorecer, entonces para ahorrarme frustraciones he decidido jugar con mis propias cartas y ahorrarme los alquileres.

It is clear the strong P2W component that the game has, I am not going to go into the whole story of how eliminating the leagues was the worst decision they have made, but the conclusion is clear, they will always match you with someone with a higher ranking and the RNG will favor them, so to save myself frustrations I have decided to play with my own cards and save on rents.

Esta decisión me ha liberado de una gran presión que hacía muy difícil disfrutar el juego, saber que no estoy perdiendo dinero por haber gastado 2-4$ en alquilar cartas que igualmente perderé porque me han emparejado con jugadores que me sacan hasta 500 puntos de ranking es un gran alivio, ya que simplemente no me genera una pérdida de inversión.

This decision has freed me from a lot of pressure that made it very difficult to enjoy the game, knowing that I'm not losing money by spending $2-$4 on renting cards that I'll still lose because I've been matched with players who are up to 500 ranking points ahead of me is a huge relief, as it simply doesn't cause me to lose any investment.

Incluso he podido llegar a oro II no sólo con mis propias cartas sino que el boost sigue siendo óptimo para obtener ganancias y es mi propio Sps estaqueado! Estas son las razones que me han movido a detener el desangre que ha significado para mi invertir en alquilar cartas y sps. I've even been able to reach Gold II not only with my own cards but the boost is still optimal for making a profit and it's my own staked Sps! These are the reasons that have moved me to stop the drain that investing in renting cards and sps has meant for me. Now frustration is slowly turning into satisfaction when you achieve a victory with your own resources, like the battle I show you below.

Esta batalla fue una gran satisfacción, todas las cartas de mi alineación son mías y lo que hice para ganar fue enfocarme en las tasas de evasión de cartas particulares como lo es Void Dragon, que bajo las condiciones adecuadas puede volverse un objetivo extremadamente difícil de acertar si lo apoyamos con habilidades de velocidad y aflicción como lo es Blind.

This battle was a great satisfaction, all the cards in my lineup are mine and what I did to win was to focus on the evasion rates of particular cards like Void Dragon, which under the right conditions can become an extremely difficult target to hit if we support it with speed and affliction skills like Blind.

Recientemente terminamos las Brawls y al quedar de primeros obtuvimos una gran cantidad de méritos y si sumamos los obtenidos en los cofres completamos los suficientes para abrir 2 gladius packs. Veamos cual fue su contenido:

Ya lo había dicho antes pero lo quiero recalcar, estas cartas gladius son un gran apoyo en el formato Modern, ayudan a completar tus opciones de batallas y estrategias, sobre todo con los invocadores soulbound que pueden reclutar estas cartas en partidas clasificatorias.
