New Update Of My Broiler Birds At Day 5

in Homesteadinglast year

Hi Everyone,

It's with great pleasure that am welcoming everyone to my blog and I hope you're all doing well and having a great day. Without wasting much of your time I will like to share with you some new update regarding the development and growth of my broiler birds.

I brought my day old broiler birds chick in exactly five days ago and they are still much in the brooding process but despite that there has been a lot of changes in them and am loving it and the fact that I haven't recorded any mortality rate means everything regarding the second batch of my poultry farm business is going smoothly.

Like I said earlier that my birds are now five days old since I brought them in and some changes can be noticed such as increasing in size though it may not be uniformly but at least growth is occurring. The started growing wings since they reached three days old but at five days old, it becomes more visible and their appetite is gradually growing as well but that's a normal thing if you're more familiar with broilers bird, their appetite and urge for feeding seems to increase as they grow old.

At day five, tray feeder can not quench my birds appetite any more and that's why I have to replace it with iron feeders.

Antibiotics and multivitamin is very important for the birds at this stage and I have been making sure to that since my birds reach day three. The essence of the antibiotics and multivitamin is to prevent any sort of infection, improve growth and feeding efficiency.

Thanks for visiting my blog and have a wonderful day
