Hi everyone, this is my first post in the Homesteading community regarding agricultural crops, I share experiences of rice farming in mud with all of you, I invite you to see the development of this new new rice crop.

We are very busy at the end of August and maybe the next few days, we are busy with starting to plant rice, this planting process lasts for a day or even two days. Wading through the mud in the rice fields is very influential on planting rice on muddy land. Cultivators that start from rice seedling, to plucking to be transferred to open land or mud.

Filling water sources from sufficient irrigation channels, a few days ago it rained so heavily that we had to postpone starting the process of planting rice in peaty mud, seeing the situation that was very supportive of us starting to plant rice, all seeds were moved from the seed reservoir to be planted start planting.

We transfer the rice seeds that are 18 days old by pulling them out of the seedling shelter, everything is done manually or individually to remove all the seeds from the shelter. This process takes about two or three hours for the removal of these seeds.Well, there it looks like the rice seeds look so fresh and natural green, after a few days of being moved, these seeds start to turn yellow and that's the first growth process before fertilization.

After one week we cleared the mud land from weeds, the repair process started with a tractor to plow the land, filling water from sufficient irrigation we started sowing seeds placed on the land we had prepared, this process we had to wait for seedlings to germinate in two or more three days before being sown in the mud.

After completion of the planting process, the rice looks wilted and yellowed, in a few days the newly planted rice will grow slowly, after about two weeks of planting, the fertilization process begins and in a matter of days there will be hybridization.

Maybe this looks so quick and easy doesn't it? but this all takes a long time about 3 months for the harvest, we also have to take care of the rice plants by giving fertilizers and fungicides to keep the quality of rice more secure and free from pests that interfere with rice plants.

Well, the dark green color looks very good from growing rice, this very fresh looking rice has an age of 1 after the first fertilization stage and fungicide spraying. Taking good care of it will get maximum results when the harvest season arrives, the second fertilization begins at the age of the rice reaching two months and the spraying of fungicides, both of which are needed to maintain the quality and health of the rice plant.
