Well, my tip is to bring the clothes you want to wear into the bed with you before you get up. Once they've warmed up, you might want to consider getting dressed while you are still in bed 😁. Learned long ago growing up before any kind of heating in the house, never mind central heating.
Would the tent fit inside the house? Just a thought.
We're nearly at the solstice, a magical time to be anywhere. I'll be in my caravan near the sea. Then it will be the turning of the year and the days start getting longer and warmer, little by little.
Yes; the warming-clothes-in-bed trick is a great reminder, thank you @shanibeer !! We're hoping to do something similar to the tent in the house, by using a big plastic sheet to cover (the worst side of) the house...
