Hello Hive
Welcome to a new day and my gardening blog. I started the day taking care of the veggies and potatoes. Yesterday I was lucky to get some sacs from a cement seller close by. I have been wanting to go purchase some of these sac earlier as the sacs are sold for $0.2 after their earlier contents have been used up.

While planning to make purchase I was giving a few of the sac for free in which this morning I have put them to good use.
I first need to clear the spot for planting the potatoes but before that I have lots of matured jute mallow there, so we started with harvesting the matured jute mallow for soup.

Rather than weed them off with the grasses we harvested them out for soup and these were very much and fresh. Having done that we weeded off the grasses and then my brother helped me with filling the sacs with some fertile soil outside our compound.

The filled soil was arranged by the wall, before I went ahead to cut up some potatoes stems in pairs and dipped/plant them into each of the sacs.

That was done before I got water to wet each of the sacs. For people with little spaces like mine you can always use this approach to grow either scotch pepper, fluted pumpkins or some other crops that can be planted in this manner.

The work was faster and much easier for us this morning as I wasn't the only one left to weed, collect sand or cut stems for planting. We were about 5 each doing, myself , siblings and my friend/neighbor daughter here. She was so happy to receive the fresh vegetables and started preparing them almost immediately, we could be enjoying some fresh veggies soup 🍲 later in the day.
Sac usually takes time to be filled with soil but they do well in agricultural plant growth
