Printed the boys a couple figures which surprisingly stand up on their own okay. The feet are just big enough to keep them upright. I've seen tons of other figure models but just haven't dove down the rabbit hole yet.

I grabbed my DB meter and stepped onto the deck to test out two of the whistles. They are emergency whistles so are meant to be super loud. Interestingly the thinner two tone one on the left was louder by a couple DB over the larger single tone on the right. Still over 110db each. I measured in the A setting which averages and seemed okay for the whistles.

After a talk with my Dad regarding my placement of the meter I headed out to the garden to try again. I had trouble getting consistent recordings. I was trying in the A setting which worked 2 out of 5 times to record the proper levels. It was trying to average too much I think. I switched to the C setting and it seemed to respond better. I ran out of the ammo in the clip so called it and will try again today.

The meter is not super complicated it's just figuring out how to best use it for the best results.

I had the Apocalypse Porn on for the day and was watching when the KCAL copter was flying over the top of the Kennith fire right as it was starting. The copter sat overhead for hours and showed the incredible response of the firefighters. At one point there was over 20 aircraft attacking it. Seems the arsonist was caught too.

I got the Kraken game on then went to pickup the boys from stem club. We got back right after it started and for a short while there was a bit of hope they might do okay...

This was more inline with what I need to happen. The first was the low one which acted as a perfect guide which I followed with the two triples. THAT is how the visit should be. Practice is the mantra.

Over the day I had been trying to print out the pieces for a rubix cube. I had them all setup on the plate but as the print went on I had placed the corner pieces wrong so all the supports broke off mid print. So the middle pieces printed fine along with the screws. So after resetting the corner pieces and the center I got them printed out. The pieces finished after the boys were home and soon J and I had it put together. It's a bit rough to move and it popped apart once R got a hold of it. I'm printing a new screw and will put it back together in a couple hours.

Grubauer sucks big fat hockey stick. What a shit goalie he is. He got removed and Daccord put in his rightful spot. They got obliterated 6-2 and I gave up before the end of the second period. We watched Lower Decks instead.

Got out to soak for a while. My bedside light is fritzing out and I have to troubleshoot it to figure out why it is wigging out, or just install a good switch on my old one...

Today I will get the boys to school first thing, I have the printer working away already and will keep it going, will work with the meter some more, pickup the co-op order early afternoon, I should wander the upper property, we might get snow today but the call is for under an inch, and then we have R's wrestling sign-ups this evening.
