So much for a Winter start, this rain has made for some craziness around the region, which has totally bypassed us. The river hasn't changed level much, it's only a 1/4 mile from the house. Yet rivers just 30-50 miles away are at flood stages. The warm temps are quite wild for this time of year. The day was foggy and SUPER misty. It was foggy enough for water to be running off roofs drip edges. The bulk of the day was the same.

Started this print really early and it was done right after taking the boys to school.

I was watching for the mail to deliver and working to clear my old desk off. I removed all the stuff I had littering the surface, removed the sheet of granite, and pulled the drawers to clean them out.

It was perfect timing as I saw the mail deliver my desk soon after I had cleaned. It was in the house and I had it assembled in rather quick time. Jax supervised the assembly.

Pulled my old desk out of the corner and cleared the floor. My chair mat went out to get cleaned but I put a hole in it by accident so need to order a new one so the wheels of the chair don't trash the flooring.

I LOVE this desk! It really looks nice, gives me tons more storage space, a larger desktop, and my fly tying space it right there on the right side. I managed to get it together just in time as @stryeyz got home to pick me up to go to the concert.

HOLY SHIT was it packed. We normally have a seat but ended up standing at the back next to our friends.

Very nicely R's class was in the first round as the 3rd/4th graders went first.

People got a chuckle from R as he yelled out "hello Mother, hello Father!".

Our spot in the center back of the gym made it very easy for him to see us and he mugged a bunch for the camera.

They did their 3 songs and by about 12:30 we had slid out the entrance after the 3rd and 4th graders exited to make room for the 2nd graders. @stryeyz came home for lunch then after she headed back to work I went to the co-op pickup.

It is annoying when people aren't at the pickup on time, or at all, but at least it was only a few boxes to bring home which went to the package box for them to pickup at their leisure. PDC worlds are on everyday so I have the matches on. Some solid upsets already with Smith going down in flames...

Much of the afternoon was spent organizing my new desk before @stryeyz got home and we went to dinner in town for our date night. Ended up at Cascadia Public house which we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. WELL worth it as the food is super tasty. The pear vinaigrette on the salad was delectable. They have probably the best pretzels EVER!

Today I have to get the lighting fixed for my client, we will go up on the hill and get our Christmas tree and set it up, PDC is on, will keep setting up my desk area, the printer is going on my new laptop risers already, and then not sure what else today.

Glad most of the storms have passed you by my friend!👍😊
We have friends over by Leavenworth that have several homes on the Wenatchee river and it is surrounding their homes with flood water! 🙄
The posts showing the levels and the damage are pretty wild. Hopefully the next system is colder and not so warm to finally drop the snow level down.
They say one more atmospheric river is coming Sunday....... hopefully it won't be bad!!🙄😇
