So far winter is refusing to set in fully as we got a tiny dusting which managed to stay until yesterday morning. The drenching we got last month hasn't translated into much of anything this month. There is a tiny chance later this week but still not much to look out for aside from icy roads.

Early in the morning I worked on sizing the drawers for the storage set, removing the dividers for an open tray drawer, and saving all the files for later printing. I am doing them max size on the plate which is a 159% increase in size from the original. I need to learn how to make things in Blender and not just edit.

The Kraken game came on at 10am and it looked to be a shit show from the get go as NY scored fast and early.

While the game was on I had prints going in the printer but didn't want to wait for it to end so I got the honeycomb installed on the side now that I have the M3 bolt kit. I'm still working on the storage parts that will plug into the honeycomb.

And with the bolt kit I was able to finally put my #Meshtastic case together properly. It's a lot nice having it bolted tight.

So it was the start of the second period and the Kraken were down 3-1 when the game turned on it's head. They scored 5 unanswered goals before NY finally got another late in the 3rd.

The empty net goal towards the end solidified the win in what turned into a great game.

I waited until after the game to go work on the water line. I first had to turn the well off then drain the lines of as much water as I could. Once the bulk had drained I cut off the cap I had installed and let the line drain. I bailed water with the sand castle toy until the flow had finally slowed to a trickle.

It was fortunate that all I needed was the 90, coupler, and 2" length of pvc. When I removed the T an inch of pvc went with it then the same with the cap. The pvc joints have a 1" depth to each side so makes the measurements easy.

I put the coupler and 90 together first then jammed the pieces all together. I let it sit for about 15 minutes to allow the glue to set before I turned the well back on.

The first thing I did was fill the animal waters as that was what had instigated this whole fiasco in the first place.

It is always a bit maddening how different the time frame is between the digging of a hole and the filling in of a hole. What took me 5 hours to dig out took me 20 minutes to fill back in....

IMG_20241208_133148.jpg

I got it mostly filled in with the stand pipes in place to access the valves. NO frost free means that I should NEVER have to dig this area up again.

The Seahawks played in the afternoon and did a good job of beating up the Cardinals. They are top in their division so far.

I finally managed to get the pins printed out and put together the catapult I printed out. This is the best one I have found so far and actually throws things a long way.

Super nifty and I am printing another one out now for the boys.

IMG_20241208_163944.jpg

I've been a bit annoyed by the position of the filament sensor so I printed a bracket and moved it around the side where it feeds the filament directly from the heater with very little space between.

For the evening I put on Mars Attacks. It is a GREAT movie and is pretty much our world right now. The movie was a Tim Burton film and had the most insane cast. There is NO WAY they got paid what they were making at that time, the movie nowhere near made enough money to justify them all, so they had to have done it for the goof or something.

Got out to soak for a bit before much needed sleep.

Today I'll get the boys to school, finish the back filling, split wood, work on cleaning and organizing, check the upper property and fence line, and try to devise something for dinner this evening.

Nice to have your water line fixed, hopefully this will never be a problem again!👍😊

Such as water lines or sewerge lines become more of a problem when they are damaged.
