Losers, Soldering, Meshtastic, Bury Wires, Garlic Signs, Moving Rocks To Wall, Fog - Sunday

Thankfully I have my phone tethering to use so I still have some internet and was able to watch the Man Utd shit show yesterday morning. There was a glimmer there for a bit but then they just showed yet again just how awful they are this year.

My bedside light had the switch die on it and I'd had it hanging around for a while waiting to get fixed. The easiest way I could make it work was to unsolder the two wires from the input side of the little switch circuit board and direct solder to the same colored wires on the other side. The light turns on and switches between 3 temperatures but won't turn on and off. It does work though so can still be used.

I also worked on my #Meshtastic nodes. For the wireless tracker I built a 2 cell lipo pack with the bms. It fits in the case nicely with plenty of room.

For my main eventual router that will be on the hill I had to figure out betting power to it from the solar cell. I did some reading and found that I can apply power to the 5v pin and it will charge the cells, so I don't need to plug in a usb-c which won't fit in the case anyway. I eventually got the solar panel last night and will give it a try today despite the rain.

We are going to have low 20s F lows the next nights so I had to get the wires buried across the pathway to the greenhouse before the ground freezes. The ends are still free but I needed the dirt work done primarily. Can't run a miner without internet...

The 3 varieties of garlic that we planted needed their signage made. I had to cut a few stakes then stapled the signs to them and pounded them into the ground. The grease pen should hold through the winter and sun better than a Sharpie.

After noon the Seahawks played and it was a pretty boring game until half time.

While @stryeyz took R to a birthday party J and I were home. I got the truck hooked up to the trailer and backed it up into the yard so I could load all the remaining rocks.

As I pulled the truck out of the yard I stopped and loaded a bunch of the boulders that have been under the patio roof drip edge. I FINALLY have all the rocks REMOVED from the yard that I had piled and stacked over the years.

J came out and helped me unload all the rocks to the wall lining the road.

We filled in a bunch of thinner areas and tried to keep the rocks tight to the wall as the plows are to go up and down this winter and I prefer to not have them push the rocks all over. Now having the main inner yard free or almost completely free of rocks I can move out to the other massive piles still on the farm, after the winter.

What a joke. Seahawks suck. I got dinner made while watching the end of the game then was able to get the Sunday animes downloaded so we watched those while eating.

Got out to soak for a bit but my hips were trashed from the rock moving so ended up inside with the percussion massager trying to beat the pain out of me.

The fog got quite dense and had a cool eerie look to it in the lights.

Today it is to be raining, will get boys to school, will take R to the dentist for his chipmunk cheek whenever they can get him in, I'll setup the mesh node with solar panel, cleanup around farm before the deep freezes, water the plants in the studio, change freeze dryer oil, then figure out dinner this evening.
