Harvesting Chilies in the Yard Garden

Hi everyone, today I want to share a post about an activity on Saturday, namely harvesting a few chilies in my garden by manually picking them so as not to damage the chili trees, so we have to do the chili picking process carefully and also with full consideration.

Chili plants are one of the plants that are quite susceptible to frequent pest attacks, this is if we do not carry out good care and also incentives for the chili plants, besides that the fertilization process must also be carried out in a balanced manner in order to provide maximum results when harvest time arrives.

In this harvest activity, I did not produce that many chilies, only getting about six kilos of chilies, but the price today is quite expensive at 50 thousand rupiah for each kilo or if we calculate in the form of hives, it is in the amount of 5,500 Hives, the results obtained for the harvest that I did on this occasion.

However, in each chili stalk I only pick chilies that have entered the harvest time, or chilies that can be categorized as old while the small chilies will still be left to be picked during the harvest process that will be carried out in the next period, otherwise later when sorting in the market then our chilies will be priced cheaply because the quality is mixed with chilies that are not ready to harvest.

That's why I prioritize quality over the large amount of harvest but will be priced cheaply because the quality of the chilies we pick is in a position that does not meet the standards of goods sold in traditional markets in the area where we currently live.
