Hive Creative Contest: Dear Father Christmas

Dear Santa,

I'm not one of the bougie kids so I never really called you Santa when I was little. My clique and I knew you as Father Christmas. You've always been a guy with a big belly that scares the heck out of kids. Actually, I don't know why kids scream when they see you, their fear bounced off on me at a point and I was scared of you too. The fear stopped when I knew you were just a scam (no offense), I mean I could literally see through the costume that it was just one of my teachers posing as Father Christmas.

I liked the little gifts though, even when the money's worth equalled the gate fee my parents paid for me to see you. I liked taking pictures that I never got to see, not even one. I didn't know I was supposed to make a wish or ask for a gift any time I saw you, I would have made a lot of requests you'd have probably called security to drag me out. I'm a big girl now but it's not too late.

Here's a list of gifts I want this Christmas.

Those pictures with you I never got to see. I low key hope I somehow run into them one day. I have not so many fond memories of my childhood because there are not enough pictures. Seeing one of my Father Christmas pictures would actually make my Christmas.
I want my creative juices to flow. If this is the only thing you get me, I'd be fine. You're not even Jesus so I don't know if you have such powers to make things work but that's what I want. Do something Santa, it's a cry for help.
A vacation travel ticket, all expense paid. 2020 has been one hell of a year and I just want to relax and be taken care of. Sipping wine on some beach and eating freshly barbequed fish caught from the sea. Getting frequent body massages while listening to soft music from a classic music box. I honestly don't mind a neighboring country like Ghana.
Hair. I love hair and I want straight hair bundles. Even better if it comes as a wig.
Fiverr gigs. If one of your elves haven't mentioned it already, I write on fiverr. Sadly, I haven't gotten any gigs recently so if you could do something about that, it'd be really nice you know. I write lifestyle, skincare, health, fashion and beauty posts.

I hope I'm not leaving anything out, these would do I guess. Please I live in Nigeria, we don't have chimneys for you to jump in, neither do we tolerate breaking and entry, a huge cutlass might just land on your neck if you do that. Use the front door, thanks.
