First Wednesday Walk of the New Year - Magicical Transformation of Hoar Frost...

Our first walk of the new year was a frosty one! Frosty yet beautiful for the hoar frost had transformed the rather bare popular trees, shrubs and evergreens with their crystally magic!

Walking Bruno into a Beautiful Frosty Scene

I wish I could give you a panoramic view as we got all around us when we reached the top of the hill but alas I'm not capable of that so I will share some highlighted views.

Bruno enjoyed the fresh snow with rolling around having a snow bath!

Each direction I looked was a beautiful scene.

As we headed home the sun began to break through making for a beautiful sky above the frosty scenes as you can see in these scenes...

I couldn't resisted sharing different groups of trees which the hoar frost had beautified!

I was caught in the wonder of the beautiful scenes but the chill was starting to set in and my battery was getting low in my camera so that is it for this walk.

Good contribution and beautiful pictures :)

Gorgeous pictures, @porters! I love all the frosty branches. My first Wednesday walk was somewhat similar. I will be posting mine shortly.

Although it looks so cold the contrast of the snow and the blue skies are so beautiful
Bruno sure seemed to love it

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk and Happy New year

Happy New Year!

I love all of these wintry photos. It's unseen where I am, so living vicariously through photos on the internet is what I do best. :D

It's so serene and peaceful-looking. Beautiful!

Such an incredibly beautiful start to your New Year! That hoar frost, just so stunning!

Thanks for sharing your experience with us!

Wow! What can beat this?
Most beautiful sights here my friend and Marian says that many of these can be used as Christmas cards.
A great video of Bruno as well.
Blessings to you guys!

I was thinking of doing a card theme with frosty pictures and put them in my Etsy store.
Also I have been thinking of putting together a moon photo book and wanted to feature both yours and mine having it in digital form and also print form with all proceeds going to Papillon charity.
Are you interested? DM me in discord. Title something like "Moon Shots from Both sides of the World!"
I have an Etsy store, a store on @Homesteaderscoop and through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing.

Those were indeed great photos for a card theme and I am sure that they will do well. I will DM you as the moon shots idea also sounds great!
Problem is to get HD photos to you.
But let's see how it goes and thank you so much for thinking about Papillon.
Blessings!

Do you have a Dropbox account or Google has free cloud storage too? You could upload the files in there and share a link to it with me.

Thank you and I will have to look into this my friend.
Blessings!

Had never heard of this phenomenon before, learned it here and am still amazed at how beautiful it looks even if extremely cold.

Dog really loves this cold weather with his thick coat @porters, which reminds me I have a dog to bath....

Thanks for sharing these lovely cool pictures while sitting in sweltering +30 deg C, sure is a way to let my imagination roam a little.

Ey, I'm back! What did I miss?
I Dig the first photo 'tis rather hotsy-totsy.
