RE: #ZAPFIC - tell me a tale in 240 characters or less (a micro fiction contest with Prize pool including 6 SBI 100 Marlians, 100 CCC!)

The sheriff appeared in silhouette on the horizon. In the weak morning light I mistook him for a corrupt deputy, Conrad. I lifted my 6 shooter, aimed & bang he fell to the floor like a mule. I shot the Sheriff, but I didn't shoot the deputy

That's great! enter it!

Excellent! Thanks for your entry! :)

And the deputy lived to corrupt another day. So true to life it is because the corrupt just keep on keeping on, @outerground. Poor sheriff. Bad lighting will do you in every time.

hi @outerground

Due to the current issues following the hostile move by Sun on the Steem blockchain I am pausing the Zapfic contest until things have sorted themselves out a bit. I will announce the winners and the new prompt as soon as things are a little clearer!
