Hive Creative Contest | A Modest Epistle for Future Oneself

Dear Miss Tabata:

I hope you are doing really well this time! Me your present self, want to share a few things with you.
This epistle does not pretend to be judgmental of any type; moreover, it pretends to be a beacon for you, indeed is addressed for your present and future self.

You have been through a lot these past years. You have lost friends and family equally.
Think about it, this is the natural course of things; actually do not feel pity about all that, indeed you must feel gladness and joyfulness because your loved ones taught you the most incredible lesson one can learn which is to live, to care and spread love.

You deserve to love and take care of yourself. Do not degrade your soul instead elevate it to the higher level you can reach, I know you can!
It is just matter of acknowledgment: you need to know that you are valuable, a warrior and you can be successful anytime now! You just need to believe in yourself, and do not let people to tell you otherwise.

You are intelligent, perceptive, clever and moral so you must follow your own path and live your life by your own terms. The choice is in your hands, take it and do not be afraid, try and persevere now and tomorrow.

Also as a former you, I want to thank you for all the things you have done for us. Sometimes you seem to have lost the track but instead you kept your promise of being strong and carried on. I am so glad for that! Thank you for being truly to oneself.

Do not forget, time passes and sometimes can be cruel but this is not enough reason to give up to you, to us. Stay strong; spend time with your friends and family. They are here for you, do not hide your feelings, and stop being an opinionated person most of the time. Open your heart one more time, and be thankful, be the better person and avoid being bitter sometimes.
