Hi Cahlen,
This topic you choose echoed with a recent thought, maybe you have a view on this.
Let's call it the powerless group of free man paradox.
For now, the only way of being really free of the system is going on very low energy consumption mode. (simple life like yours)
And it is perfect for an individual but I don't see it playing out well for bigger number of peoples.
I only see 2, maybe favorable, strategies with this configuration:
- Convince a vast majority to do the same. (I don't see the system letting us going it long enough to be a threat)
- Waiting system collapse to play our cards. (very unknown path, lot's of assumptions)
Perhaps at a time, physical power / energy need to be stored, accumulated in order of being able to stand our ground, defend ourselfs.
Or get a kind of mixed organisation, some level free, some less free for building resources that will be merge at a given time.
I think there's a lot of need for the nomad/minimalist, and the world could host a large amount of them without the system noticing. They would only be alone in their specific role, and still surrounded by more established "normal" people, so not actually alone.
I don't think we should wait for the system collapse. We should live as if it's already gone as far as we are concerned.
Don't get me wrong, I think that the nomad/minimalist lifestyle is very rich.
And I agree with you saying:
As long as this amount is divided / not regrouped.
But maybe I should rephrase myself with an example.
Let take 300 nice humans.
They are nice, understand natural law, got free of the system, understand the need to regroup, act upon, build a nice community of enlightened minimalist people growing their independence.
And by regrouping in the matter, they got attention of the keepers of the human farm, witch will try, by any means not threatening there business, to destroy this very unproductive initiative.
So how do this 300 dudes could resist, without enough weapons, people, money (or any other energy equivalent) ?
