I feel like I must-for the children that don't know where their music came from.

The Rolling Stones Sympathy for the Devil
This vid is a part of the Rock and Roll Circus, a made for TV event that was never aired as originally planned in 1968. Brian Jones is on stage, his last appearance with the band. In 2 months he'd be fired from the band and dead of an overdose. John Lennon and Yoko Ono are in the audience.

The next time the Stones toured North America they hired the Hell's Angles to provide security. While playing the song a number of Angles entered the crowd and 2 people died. The Stones didn't play the song in public again until the Steel Wheels Tour in 1980 in Seattle, Wa. I was there :)

Amazing you saw them live doing this number, forgot this song was not played for some time.

Brian Jones (1943 - 1969)

and bear me in your mind.
Let all the world say what they may,
speak of me as you find"
