Sometimes You Just Need To Get Started! Things Have A Way Of Working Out!

I have been planning on getting on the road, it seems that everything I plan out just falls apart. So I have taken a new route and took a long look at many things. For a long time, I was one to just get things done on a whim, it seems now I have changed my thinking. I wanted everything to be perfect to start traveling, I see that will not work. If I keep waiting on perfection I will never get started and will have regrets that I did not just go. I do not want that to happen and miss the excitement of what is to come.

I have a truck and it is doing good. We took it on a run to Alabama a few days ago, checking it out and seeing if it was dependable for a trip. It worked out fine and have went places here, remember a round trip to the grocery store for us, is pushing 70 to 100 miles. So I think it will do just fine, there are things I will need to do to it before I do long trips but I want to do short trips to see if, with my back and knees problems, I can make it a go or a no-go if they do not allow me to do so.

I got overwhelmed with the things I wanted, like a drone, which I have. Some other things were like the big solar generator and things you see other people traveling full time have. I came to the realization that with the truck I would not need all those things right now. SO I got on Amazon and started looking for the basic things I would need. I have to use a CPAP machine so I needed something to power that at night. Something I could charge while driving from place to place. This is what I found!

This little solar generator will do just fine. I will not be at one place for more than a couple of days. So tomorrow I will order that and start with that. It is cheap enough for me to still have the funds to get out and go. I got the required adapters and such also.

I will charge it and use it for a couple of nights here at home to make sure it will work for my CPAP, I will also sleep in the truck a couple of nights to get what works for me. I can use a small grill or/and small Coleman stove for heating water for coffee, got to have that. LOL, and cooking, I have my Apple phone for videos and pictures. So bear with me on videos until I figure out how to use iMovie as my video editor on my phone. Very soon I will be out and about!

Yes, it is the realization that things in life will never be perfect, just get started and things will get better as you move along and take the time to enjoy what you want to do. Do not get stuck on things, when you want to do something just do it. I always say if it is meant for you to do something it will always work out in the end. I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! Have a wonderful night/day, whatever it is in your part of the world! ALWAYS FORWARD!

I didn't know that we need to click the Vote button after clicking on the heart. I am learning things.

Thanks! It is a learning process.
Took me a while when I first started also.
Keep up and you will learn!

I agree just get out traveling and you will also find out what you really need.

Yeah, I got to thinking, sometimes dangerous for me I know, but why do I need all of this stuff. I guess we see others that have all the toys and we want them all too.

That looks like a great little battery and hopefully it'll do exactly what you need! Good luck!

Thanks! I hope it does too! I ordered it, so only one way to find out, right?

Good stuff here Mike, I am one of the worst or should I say the best at procrastination. That is my middle name some times

Yeah, I think that is the way it is with all of us sometimes.
Just have to get it done!
