You Should Never Watch Money Heist

Money heist was released by Netflix in 2017 and has been running for about four seasons now. It's about... well, a heist but it is so well done that it has filled the gap that game of thrones has left in me. I love how the protagonist, the professor is somewhat akin to all the Lannisters and Rob Stark rolled into one. Of course, I'm referring to his strategic prowess.

So here are three reasons why you should never watch Money Heist.

Because You Have a Life

As they say, variety is the spice of life and there are so many other experiences you can try out, so many other shows you can watch if you are stuck at home during the Covid-19 lockdown, why would you want to burn all those hours on four seasons of this show?

The show will keep you hooked. It is so good that there is no way you could do anything else. I mean I'm trying to write this post now but I'm finding it hard to finish because, well I'm too focused on binge-watching this to the very end. This show has no dull moments and even if they do, it's just to draw a complex backstory to the characters of the show.

Naturally, how am I going to write this if I'm busy concentrating on how they are going to escape.

Because Sleep is important

You know those late nights where you find yourself not falling asleep. What do you do? You can read a book, hopefully, something boring enough to put you to sleep. You can also lower the temperature of your room, which has been known to help with falling asleep.

But you should never, ever continue binge-watching a show like Money Heist. Why? Because it keeps you up and as you want to find out what happens next before you know it, it's already 4 am in the morning. Thank God I don't have to be at work since we are on lockdown from the Coronavirus. Wait, I have an online class at 9 am, I guess I'm going to give my lecture with the video off on Zoom.

Now, where's my coffee... I need to continue watching... I mean, to give an online lecture on creative writing.

Because You (Or I) Have a Wife

My wife and I used to watch shows together, we started watching money heist but it just isn't her thing. She prefers madam secretary and Korean dramas. WHO HAS TIME FOR THAT? I'm just going to continue watching the next season on my own.

I mean, the entire four-season is akin to a long movie. Would you stop watching a movie halfway? I think not. So that's why I'm deciding to watch the next few episodes without her. This is also why she is upset because, well, I watched the next few episodes without her and she's pissed.

As you have noticed, I did not talk about the plot much, I'll leave you to experience it yourself. I hope you would enjoy all four seasons as much as I have and if you have watched it, do let me know your thoughts on the show!

Sort:

Hahaha.. the irony of the third reason.
My wife has been trying to convince me to watch this series as our new 'watch together' show 😂
Now I'm worried that I will give in, enjoy it (meaning reason 1 and 2 become an issue) and she will change her mind by episode 3.

Personally, I think you'll be curious at first, i wondered how did that manage to stretch the story on the same locale for two seasons. By the fourth episode of so, you'll be completely hooked,at least i was.. Haha.. It's really addictive though, so you've been warned!

Thanks for the warning 😅

Just finished season 4 a few nights ago, looks like they want to outdo themselves by stretching this heist to 3 seasons 😣

I think so, or four seasons..hahaha we are probably going to have it by this year? YAY!!

hahahaha
I don't watch it
But The Hubs is hooked like you :D

awww... why not? Join him!

I've heard a lot about the show but have been playing catch on other stuff. I'm going to start watching immediately after I'm done sketching.

Nice, what have you been catching up on?

Let me see...
Watchmen
Flash
West World
Bob's Burgers
Brooklyn 99
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia

... just to mention a few.

I'm really curious, of all the verses that you could've chosen for this message, why Mark 1:15?
Why not John 3:16? Jeremiah 29:11 and even psalm 23?

God bless you too, I think it is always best to engage others in a more personal manner. Think just writing like that seems a bit "in your face" to others. Personally, I have led teens at church and the best way is not to dump the word of God on them but just to talk to them and share with them. Ultimately, the choice to accept the Lord is in the hands of those who hear them and we can only plant the seed.
