If you make it about something weekend related, The Weekend Community run by @galenkp, is an awesome place to start meeting very communicative and friendly folks. LOT's of good stuff going on over there.
To help you out a bit with resource credits, and so you don't run out of posting, commenting, voting abilities so quickly, I am going to delegate a small amount of HP to you for a while. At least until you get your feet planted and your HP up to a good level.
